Anatomy Weekend Intensive w/Shanna Linn of Moksha Yoga

Dates: Sept 4-6th - Friday 6-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-12pm & 1-4pm

For yoga practitioners, yoga teachers, and yoga enthusiasts (satisfies 15 contact CEU hours for Yoga Alliance).

Deepen the transformative potential of yoga through a comprehensive study of anatomy as it pertains to and supports the practice of yoga. Integrate the contemporary study of human anatomy and movement with the ancient yogic wisdom of the body.

This workshop is a stimulating combination of lecture and discussion, hands-on palpation, and experiential asana, organized around principles of body mechanics, movement patterns, and the various systems, especially respiration.

Facilitator: Shanna Linn, anatomy instructor at Moksha Yoga in Chicago. Shanna Linn has studied and practiced yoga since 1992; her commitment to teaching anatomy as it pertains to yoga reflects a life-long interest in the body as a path to the mind, and their union as a path to consciousness. She holds degrees from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Tyler School of Fine Art, and SAIC.

"Shanna has accumulated a wealth of knowledge of physical, breath and energy anatomy of the human body. She turns what could be a boring subject into a fascinating and interactive experience making anatomy easy to understand and applicable to both yoga practitioners and teachers alike. Don't miss this course!" - R.B.
